Applications & Guidance
Dance Horizons welcome submissions from dance artists and companies to present their work as part of our events. Please read the specific events guidance notes prior to filling in your submission form.
If you have any queries regarding this process or require the materials in a different format then please contact our team and we will happy to assist you.
How does the submission portal work?
Dance Horizons aims to keep this process as straight forward as possible for artists and companies to submit their work for our platforms.
The form is made up of three sections.
1. About You:
Either as the artist or company to complete a brief overview of your work to date.
2. Your Submission:
This part we ask about the work itself, we ask that you provide us with all the relevant artistic details about your work, how you created it and who's involved.
You CAN submit this via a video link if you prefer. You also need to provide us with an overview of the technical needs of the work.
3. Supporting & Additional Materials:
You must provide us with a link(s) to footage for your work. We expect these will be in a studio setting. You can also send us links to your social media, website and anything else you feel relevant to the submission.
We also ask you inform us of any additional support or accessibility you or your company would require to participate in this platform. This information ensures we can assess the submission fairly and can ensure the venue can accommodate your work. We strive to work with accessible venues however, this is not always possible at some festivals.
Once the deadline for submissions has passed, the platform team and producers will assess each application individually on the elements mentioned above. We then notify artists of the outcome of their submission. Innovations receives a large quantity of submissions for each call therefore this process can be lengthy. Artists can submit a maximum of two submissions for each call out.
There are currently no open calls for events.
